Maku Free Zone's Airport to be submitted to the Civil Aviation Authority at the first half of the year
Pubic Relations and International Affairs: Advisor to the President and Secretary of the Supreme Council of Free and Special Economic Zones on a visit to the airport of Maku free zone said: The airport will be submitted to the Civil Aviation Authority at the first half-year after the end of its construction. On this visit, by expressing his satisfaction with the progress of this airport's construction, Akbar Torkan emphasized: Regarding bad and cold weather conditions of the area, physical progression of the airport project in Maku free zone is desirable.
Advisor to the President and Secretary of the Supreme Council of Free and Special Economic Zones added: According to the promise of Maku free zone CEO, we hope that the airport will be delivered to the Civil Aviation Authority in the first half of this year to be exploited.
On his trip to Maku free zone Akbar Torkan also visited Aras Camp area, historical castle of Maku, Farhad's stone crypt, touristic village of Rend, Baroon dam, border market of Maku and touristic area of Cheshmeh Soreyya.
