After Verification, The Flights Officially Start In Maku Airport

After conducting final flight tests in newly established Maku free zone airport, the flights will officially start at this airport.

According to public relations and international affairs of Maku free zone organization, Hossein Froozan, the CEO of Maku free zone organization stated: Having accomplished and equipped the control tower and waiting hall, the flights would officially be carried out at this airport late in September this year.

He pointed out to the accomplishment of Emam Great Park and International Exhibition projects of Maku free zone and added: These two important projects will be accomplished and officially opened in late September and will  be dedicated to residents of Maku free zone.  

Froozan also referred to the ongoing developmental projects and noted: Construction and development of roads in Showt, Sarisoo, Keshmesh Tappeh, Poldasht and Marganlar, and establishment of power plants with foreign participation, the construction of cement plants and petrochemical projects in the zone are among the many projects running in Maku free zone.

He noted to tourism activities of the organization and said: Currently Baghcheh Joog palace is renovated and three historical bridges of the zone will be repaired in the near future.
