Indonesian Ambassador to Iran meets CEO of Maku Free Zone: Indonesia is willing to invest in Maku free zone.
According to public relations and international affairs of Maku free zone organization, Indonesian Ambassador to Iran, Octavino Alimudin, said: Indonesian trading companies have chosen Maku free zone as a HUB to export their goods through the zone to neighboring countries.
Octavino Alimudin announced that, regarding agriculture and animal husbandry infrastructure in Maku free zone, a large company in Indonesia, in the field of agriculture and livestock industry is ready to invest in this zone.
Referring to the potentials of Indonesia in the food and pharmaceutical industries, he added: Indonesian investors in the food and pharmaceutical industries are ready to invest in Maku free zone.
Managing Director of Maku free zone organization, Hossein Froozan, also referred to the capacities, capabilities and advantages of Maku free zone and stated: We welcome and are ready to attract Indonesian investors and traders for economic activities in the zone and encourage them to participate in our investment projects.
He added: Being located on the Silk Road and on the Europe corridor has given Maku free zone unsurpassed advantages in transferring Indonesia's goods to Europe and the Black Sea.
Referring to the industrial potential of the zone, including industrial activities with more than 60 manufacturing units, he confirmed construction of the second phase of the industrial park. Indonesian manufacturing industries and industries in Maku free zone can have cooperation in the various fields such as industry, agriculture and mining fields.
